DIY- Hair accessories with delicate crocheted flowers.

Any event is a perfect excuse to try a beautiful but functional crochet project. A friend (another friend) is getting married in a couple of weeks and I wanted to wear a delicate but original hair accessory. I love flowers, but all the flower accessories I saw were too expensive for me, so I decide to do it myself.

As most of my handcrafts, this one is really affordable and super original, you can choose the colors you want, depending on your outfit, you can make a really cute present for another person, and depending how you customize your flower, it could look perfect for a girl or for adults. Flowers will always be fashionable, you only need to change the color of the flower according to the season.

You can use different types of yarn and hooks, to change the size of your flower, always using the same pattern.

You can use any type of glue, but I like to use hot silicon glue because is stronger.

THE PATTERN FOR THE FLOWER:

Ch 4 and sl st to do a ring, where you're going to work your pattern around.
Round 1: Ch 1, *sc and chain 3* 6 times inside the loop. Join with sl st to first sc. You'll end up having 6 loops.
Round 2: Ch 1, *sc, ch1, 3 dc, ch 1, sc* in every single 6 loops, to form 6 petals. Do not join.
Round 3: *Ch 5. Sl st in the back stitches between every single petal* Repeat this 5 more times, for a total of 6 ch 5 loops. Don't join.
Round 4: *Sl, ch 2, 6 dc, ch 2, sl st* in every ch 5 loop. Fasten off.

DIY: How to crochet the perfect winter hat?

Winter is the best excuse to do easy and practical crochet projects. I did this video tutorial a long time ago, so I decide to post it again, since is that time of the year. This is the easiest way you can make a warm hat for the winter.

My favorite part about this pattern is that you can do so much with it, and is perfect for beginners. This pattern is o easy that even though you don't know how to crochet that much, you can do it, because you only need to know 2 different types of stitches. You can also use this same technique to do scarfs, as you will see in a future video tutorial.

As you can see in the pictures bellow, using your imagination you can do different types of hats with the same pattern.
